The needs of nursing service, the advent of greater technology and advances in nursing science are changing the direction of nursing education. Strategies for restructuring clinical education are influencing all levels of nurse education during a time that we are experiencing a shortage in nurse educators as well as practicing nurses. The theme of our upcoming Faculty Developmental Institute is “Future Directions of Nursing Education During Challenging Times.” Our 2008 program will address innovative, practical tools and techniques to deliver consistent and current nurse education at all levels. Handson practice with new technology, as well as instructional methodology offered by national experts in our field, are the key reasons you should plan to attend this outstanding educational opportunity.
With an array of Preconferences for both experienced and novice educators, as well as 16 Concurrent Sessions from which to choose, Mosby’s Faculty Development Institute offers you the opportunity to share what is working for you and to learn from others in an informal and relaxed environment. Be sure to check out the option of attending “Become A Legal Nurse Consultant” prior to the Faculty Development Institute. This expanded role allows you to supplement your current position by sharing your expertise and knowledge with attorneys, insurance companies and others involved in medical-legal cases and issues.
The conference location in San Francisco is a perfect setting for you to network and take home information that you can put to use immediately. Once you have reviewed the objectives and this exciting program, we know you will not want to miss this 2008 event! |
