The 4th annual conference, Obesity Treatment and Prevention, is once again being presented in affiliation with CORE, the Centers for Obesity Research and Education. Designed for clinicians and dietitians working in primary care settings, this national conference will focus on skills and practical strategies you need to help patients take control of food and weight management.

NEW THIS YEAR, a special focus on pediatric obesity means more topics than ever related to working with children and their families to prevent and treat childhood obesity.

A consortium of nationally-known speakers from leading centers of obesity will present practical tools and strategies for obesity treatment and management which you can put immediately into practice.

A comprehensive approach to obesity management, including clinical, behavioral and psychosocial interventions will be advocated.
You will be actively involved in developing a personalized treatment plan for your overweight and obese patients.

Three timely Preconferences will be presented – one focusing on Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes, one on understanding Psychosocial Issues in Weight Management and a third Preconference focusing on Setting Up An Intensive Weight Management Program and using the Very Low Calorie Diet.
