Contemporary Forums designates this educational activity for a maximum of the listed AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This continuing medical education activity has been reviewed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and is acceptable for up to 20.5 AAP credits (Preconference A or B - 4 credits, Preconference C - 7.5 credits and Main Conference - 13 credits). These credits can be applied toward the AAP CME/CPD Award available to Fellows and Candidate Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Contemporary Forums is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. (As of January 1, 2007, ANCC’s contact hour = 60 minutes.) This credit is accepted by all State Boards of Nursing and most professional organizations including the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Contemporary Forums is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #04516. This credit is accepted by all State Boards of Nursing for license renewal. (1 contact hour = 50 minutes.)
The Certificate of Attendance will list both ANCC credit and California BRN credit. RN’s have the option of choosing which credit they will use for license renewal.
Many professional organizations and certifying agencies require ANCC credit. Please check with your professional and certifying organizations regarding the acceptance of ANCC vs. California BRN credit.

The Continuing Education Committee of the American College of Nurse-Midwives grants reciprocity status to the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) for Category 1 offerings, providing the program is relevant to nurse-midwifery.
